This post is special because is the register of our first camping and the first post written in english and portuguese. I know that I will write many things wrong, but I decided put together what I like and what I need (to train my writing).

Everything started on a Thursday, June 8, when I received my work schedule for the following week and I realize that I wouldn't work on Monday. So, I asked Adriano: "Let's go camping this weekend?" So, we stopped to see TV and started to plan what to buy, where to go... We were thinking about this trip a long time ago, but it was just ideas... We decided go to Cervantes, on the north coast, visit the Pinnacles. On Friday, when we left the job, we went to the market to buy some food and when we got home, we put everything in the car, changed a little bit the route e went to sleep early.

In the next day, we woke up a little later than we'd like to, gathered what were missing and started our adventure. In the our first stop, Two Rocks, we saw an abandoned water park which was called "Atlantis Marine Park". I researched that this park was built in 1981 and disabled in 1990. Currently, is a private property and we were afraid to entry. But, we were already there and decided to see the famous King Neptune.

O famoso Netuno / The famous Neptune

After that, we went to Jurien Bay, our second stop. There, we looked for a campsite and found one near the beach and the jetty. Adriano didn't like this campsite so we decided to see the beach first. The weather wasn't good (very cold), but the beach was beautiful and the sea incredibly blue.

We are sure that there are many things to do in this region, such as Pinnacles, sea lion tours, snorkel trail or even caves. But we didn't visit none of them. The weather was really cold and I suppose that should be better in the summer.

We didn't know where stay to sleep that night. So, we stopped at visitor centre and caught some maps and flyers, where we could see the name and telephone of certain campsites. We decided go to Sandy Cape, but I preferred return to the local where we were before because I thought the road very strange. When we were returning, I called to Sandy Cape campsite and asked if there were eletricity. The girl said me that the campsite was unpowered and didn't have potable water. I was in doubt to go to that place, but we return to the centre of Jurien Bay to buy some water and food, have a lunch e go to Sandy Cape. We decided: our first night would be there!

Wait for the next post to know how was in Sandy Cape =D
